ROBERT R PARKER JR

Becoming a lawyer has been a lifetime aspiration for Bob Parker.  He took an unconventional route to realize this particular dream.  Bob is not only a high school drop out but a reform school alumnus as well having been incarcerated as a youth for incorrigibility issues and problems with authority figures.

This would prove to be a  concern for Bob throughout his life as he has always challenged authority when it appeared that those in power were out of step with the protection or respect of (or for) the rights of the individual.

Bob returned to school and got his GED,.  From there he attended Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan which led to his being accepted as a transfer student to the University of Michigan.  Bob excelled academically and was accepted to law school at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) after completion of his junior year at Michigan.

Bob successfully graduated from NCCU Law School in 1985 and proceeded to embark on his legal career.  He was trained as a political operative for the Democratic National Committee and served as a Delegate to the DNC Convention on behalf of the Reverend Jessie L Jackson in his historic effort for the Democratic Nomination for the Presidency of the United States.

Subsequent to the foregoing, Bob worked for three (3) State Legislative bodies, (Michigan, Alabama and Oregon) as well as serving as an assistant prosecutor in Saginaw, Michigan.  He has also spent several years handling insurance claims both personal lines and  commercial claims for insurance companies.

Bob brings a wealth of life experiences to the issues posed by his clients and will exercise his acquired skill set and expertise to solve the legal problems of those whom seek his representation and assistance.
